The Mayday 8000 is a emergency and escape device compliant with DIN 58647-7, a unique standard for escape devices in industrial environments.
The Mayday 8000 is a life-saving filtering respirator that provides protection in the event of sudden emergencies, such as gas leaks, fires, and oxygen deficiencies.

An intuitive and user-friendly emergency escape respirator that enables a swift evacuation from a contaminated area.
Comprising a mouthpiece with a filter and a nose clip, the Mayday 8000 is designed to be easy to use, compact, manageable, and suitable for individuals with beards and/or those wearing prescription glasses.
PROTECTION:
Equipped with an ABEK 10 gas filter with activated carbon, the Mayday 8000 ensures a 10-minute protection period against toxic gases and vapors with a boiling point higher than 65°C (inorganic gases, acidic gases, sulfur dioxide (SO2), ammonia (NH3), and its compounds).
PROTECTIVE CASE:
The Mayday 8000 is protected by a sturdy plastic case with an integrated clip that can be attached to the belt or work clothes.
Thanks to its lightweight design, the Mayday 8000 can be easily carried in a pocket during your work shift, making it readily available for emergency use.

STORAGE AND USAGE LIMITATIONS:
Store at temperatures between -20 and +50°C with relative humidity below 80%.
REPLACEMENT:
After opening the case and breaking the seal, the escape device provides protection for 10 minutes. Following use, the Mayday 8000 must be replaced with a new, intact device.
The product has a lifespan of 6 years.
